About Our Hospital
Serving the Nashville area for over 50 years.
Hillsboro Animal Hospital has been open since 1968, and this experience gives us the best expertise to care for your pet!
We have eleven veterinarians on staff and over 40 healthcare members, including licensed technicians, assistants and receptionists. Our hospital includes a large surgery suite, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiography, a critical care unit, oxygen cages, pharmacy and separate dog and cat rooms. We perform chemotherapy, soft-tissue, orthopedic and laser surgeries. We also have a Class IV therapy laser for treating patients with arthritis, pain management and post-op recovery.
To allow ample time for all patients and surgeries, we operate primarily by appointment. You can also schedule “drop-off” appointments for your convenience. Payment is due at the time of service- we accept all major credit cards, cash, checks and Care Credit for those who need payment plans.
AAHA-ACCREDITED HOSPITALS ARE CHAMPIONS FOR EXCELLENT CARE
They hold themselves to a higher standard. Pets are their passion, and keeping them healthy is their number one priority. They strive to deliver excellent care for pets—because pets deserve nothing less.
AAHA STANDARDS OF ACCREDITATION
AAHA is the only organization that accredits veterinary practices in the United States and Canada. Practices that accept the challenge of accreditation are evaluated on stringent quality standards that encompass all aspects of veterinary medicine—from pain management and patient care to team training and medical recordkeeping—and are continuously updated to keep accredited practice teams at the forefront of the profession. Today, approximately 15% of veterinary practices in the United States hold the “AAHA-accredited” designation. Hillsboro Animal Hospital is one of them.
