Our amazing technicians:


June joined the Hillsboro family in 1971 after coming over from England. June has two grown sons and several grandchildren here in Nashville. June continues to go home to England once a year and catch up with friends and family. She has a little LhasaApso named Daphne, whom she rescued and saved after being treated for parvo. 

Cheryl came on board in 1997 and now takes care of all our ordering and inventory needs. She has a Blue Heeler named Badger and several horses. Cheryl barrel-races in her spare time and loves horse-back riding.

Pam is a licensed veterinary technician that has been with us since 1992. She graduated from Columbia State College and also teaches part-time. Pam works in the laboratory and enjoys training new staff members on all the wonders of animal biology. She has a cat, Mercury, that she rescued.

Kristi came on board in 2002 and has five years of veterinary experience. She and her fiance are from Indiana but are glad to call Nashville home now. They have a very active and very cute boxer named Ranger.

Ross works summers and holidays while attending the University of Tennessee. He was recently accepted into the  Veterinary School program after working here for four years.  Ross has a German Short-haired Pointer named Fancy.

Summer  joined us in 2006. She works as a technician while taking classes periodically.  Summer has two wonderful dachshunds named Lady Vol and Rocky Top. As you may have guessed, Summer is a huge Tennessee Vols fan.

Elaine is a licensed veterinary technician with over 20 years experience.  She graduated from Columbia State and worked at the emergency clinic for many years. Elaine has a poodle named Reese and a dachshund mix named Joey along with several cats and horses at home.  

Pamela is a recent addition to our growing staff. She is a licensed veterinary technician and graduated from Baker College veterinary program in Michigan. She has a lot of family here in Nashville and is happy to be back here.She also makes jewelry on the side and is a real craft wizard. Pamela has a cat named Sammy and just adopted a pup named Cricket.

Angie is a licensed veterinary technician from upstate New York. She and her husband relocated to Nashville to be closer to their kids and grandkids.  They have two English Setters named Francesca and Sophia and a cat named Demon. Angie has 20 years experience in the veterinary field which makes her a wonderful asset to our clinic.

Hiliary came to us from Florida with several years of veterinary experience. Hiliary graduated from the University of Central Florida and majored in Biology.  She and her husband have a cat named Gator and a dog named Quorra.

Amber came to us from Winchester, TN. She is a licensed veterinary technician who graduated from Columbia State in 2009. Amber and her husband have 2 dogs named Gwen and Sandy and a cat named Zoey. 

Kelsey just graduated from the Columbia State veterinary technician program. She is now a licensed veterinary technician and a wonderful addition to our staff. Kelsey and her husband just welcomed their first child, Ezra. They also have 2 cats named Indiana and Luna and a Lab mix named Xion.

Izzy also just graduated from Columbia State tech program and is now a licensed veterinary technician. Izzy and her husband have 2 dogs named Mufassa and Simba.

Misty joined our team in 2011 with several years of veterinary experience. She and her husband have several dogs, including a little Rat terrier named Petunia who is paralyzed but loves getting around in her doggy cart.

Jansen has been with us for a few years while going to school. He is pre-vet and applying to the University of Tennessee Veterinary program. Jansen sure loves his coffee.

Bailey is a student at Middle Tennessee State University. She is working towards her pre-vet major and hopes to attend  veterinary school soon. She has a Saint Bernard named Fiona and a Yorkie named Chewy.

Louden works here while attending UT Veterinary School. He's been with us several years gaining valuable experience. Louden has a sweet Dobie named Bachus.
